Where to get free meals and deals on Veterans Day

(WAND) - This Veterans Day, veterans and active-duty military members can take advantage of free meals and deals at restaurants and businesses all across the country.

Most businesses ask people to show their military ID. Discharge papers, VA cards, and veteran organization membership cards can also be used at most businesses.
