SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) – A figure skating club donated thousands of dollars to a central Illinois hospital. HSHS St. John’s Hospital says it claimed $4,500 from the Springfield Figure Skating Club. The hospital said the money is meant for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the hospital. Olympic figure skater Jason Brown joined the club when they gave the gift.
