CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Illinois has a chance to begin a new winning streak against Wisconsin Tuesday night in Champaign.
The Fighting Illini saw its 12-game winning streak come to an end in East Lansing following an 85-82 overtime loss to #10 Michigan State on Saturday. A slim halftime lead was not enough as Illinois was outscored 50-43 in the second half. Wisconsin is 16-7 on the season, including a middling 8-4 mark in Big Ten play.
Illinois is 119-90 against Wisconsin all-time, yet lost the previous matchup to the Badgers 95-74 in Madison in February 2025, according to Illinois Athletics.
