(WAND) -- Illinois guard Destiny Jackson is returning to the program for her sophomore year.
Jackson confirmed on Illinois associate head Coach Calamity McEntire's Instagram story that she was coming back next season.
In her freshman year with the Illini she started in all 34 games. She averaged 9.9 points per game, shooting 41% from the field and pulling down 145 rebounds.
Jackson joins Maddie Webber as the second women's player to announce their return to the team for next year.
