(WAND) -- Illinois women look to continue their post season run in the Big Ten Tournament as they take on Michigan State in the second round at Gainbridg Fieldhouse.

The Spartans hold the No. 7 seed for the Big Ten Tournament and will begin postseason action in the Second Round.

MSU won the regular season meeting with the Fighting Illini, 81-75, back on Jan. 4 in East Lansing.

Illinois trails in the all-time series against Michigan State, 28-48. The sides are even at 3-3 in neutral site games with the most recent one taking place March 8, 2008 in the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis. Illinois won that meeting, 55-41.
