CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — The Illinois football team jumped one spot to #22 in the AP Top 25 after their 34-32 win over then #21 USC.Â
The Illini also moved up one spot to #22 in the US LBM Coaches Poll. USC fell out of both polls following their loss.
Illinois heads on the road to Purdue on Saturday to take on the Boilermakers for The Cannon Rivalry Trophy. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT on the Big Ten Network.
