CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Illinois enters the last month of the regular season riding an 11 game win streak with their last loss back in early December.
The Illini are also continuing to climb in the AP Top 25 sitting at #5 in the nation after their road win Sunday at Nebraska.
Now they are turning their attention to another rematch against instate rival Northwestern.
While they got the better of the Wildcats up in Evanston in January Head Coach Brad Underwood said they are expecting a much quicker paced game.
And with more eyes on the program this season Underwood says they guys are drowning out the outside noise and focusing on the team goals.
The Illini and the Wildcats take the court Wednesday night at the State Farm Center. Tip off is at 8 p.m.
