CHICAGO, Ill. (WAND) --Â We are 36 days away until Illinois first football game of the 2026 season and the Illini look to continue building off of last years success.
Entering this season on the offensive side they will have new faces on the offensive line plus a new man leading the offense, in quarterback Katin Houser.
Houser brings plenty of experience at the QB position playing two years at Michigan State and two years at East Carolina.
And while he has to fill the shoes of Luke Altmyer he said this is a new year and new team so doesn't feel the pressure and knows what he will bring to the team this season.
