(WAND) - The half-brother of a man found dismembered in Lake Mattoon last month is now facing an attempted murder charge. 

James Adams, 26, is also charged with concealment and dismemberment after boaters discovered part of an arm belonging to 38-year-old Dalewayne Turner floating in the lake June 28.

According to court records, Adams was denied pretrial release Wednesday. 

He remains in custody and has a pretrial hearing set for Sept. 10. 

Additionally, 62-year-old Robin Turner, who is Dalewayne's wife, is facing murder charges. 

She was denied pretrial release July 17.
