DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- The City of Decatur, Maroa-Forsyth High School Bass Fishing Team, Decatur Area Convention & Visitors Bureau of Illinois, and Village of Forsyth are sponsoring the second annual 2024 Fall Frenzy High School Bass Fishing Tournament on Lake Decatur.
The event will be a 2-day tournament and the final results will be based on the two-day accumulated weights. The tournament is open to high school anglers from around the state with 2 anglers on each boat. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for total weight over the 2-day tournament and Big Bass will be awarded each day.
There will be a complimentary dinner on Saturday evening at 6:00 pm for the tournament participants and coaches/ boat captains. Following the dinner, raffle prizes will be awarded to anglers and boat captains through a random draw (must be present to win). Open registration will begin July 22, 2024 and all entries must be submitted by September 15, 2024.
