(WAND) -- Down in Charleston Eastern Illinois are 1-1 and preparing for the Mid-America Classic against instate rival Illinois State.
This will mark the 113th meeting between the programs, making it one of the longest rivalries in FCS football.
The Redbrds have won six of the last seven games.
The Panthers head coach Chris Wilkerson said it is one of their goals this week to bring the trophy back to Charleston.
The Panthers and Redbirds take the field Saturday at 2 p.m. at O'Brien FIeld.
