MAHOMET-SEYMOUR, Ill. (WAND) -- Blake Wolters was picked 44th overall by the Kansas City Royals in the second round of the 2023 MLB Draft.

The Mahomet-Seymour alum had a point 43 ERA and 106 strikeouts in 48 and 2/3 innings for the Bulldogs last season.
