Monticello, Ill. (WAND) -- Several baseball teams punched their tickets to the sectional round of playoffs Saturday.
The Monticello Sages was one of those teams, they defeated Clinton 3-1 to earn the title of regional champions and also earn the teams 30th win on the season.
While they are able to keep their historic season alive they are ready to focus on the sectional semifinals.
