Urbana shooting

Urbana police were called to the 1200 block of Ellis Dr. for a shooting. 

URBANA, Ill. (WAND) - One man was arrested after a 52-year-old man was killed in a shooting early Friday morning in Urbana. 

Urbana police were called at 1:48 a.m. to the 1200 block of Ellis Dr. for a shooting. 

After arriving, they found a man shot. The man, identified by the Champaign County Coroner as Benancio Crowley of Champaign, was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.

Following an investigation, Urbana police arrested 19-year-old Charles Lake just before 2:15 p.m. Friday along Blackthorn Drive in Champaign.
