St. Joseph-Ogden, Ill. (WAND) -- The St Joseph-Ogden Spartans left the post season in the first round and are using that has a motivator.

And its worked they currently have 30 wins and just 4 losses.

They team said they accredit their year after year success to the tough regular season schedule they play.

The Spartans take the field Wednesday in the regional semi-finals against Oakwood. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
