Unity tabs Tony Reetz as next football coach

TOLONO, Ill. (WAND) - After their legendary coach decided to call it a career, Unity Football has hired a new man to take the helm.

The Rockets have hired Tony Reetz as its next football coach. Reetz was a long-time assistant to Scott Hamilton. Hamilton retired earlier this month after 31 years of coaching the team.

Reetz will have big shoes to fill. The Rockets qualified for the playoffs in 29 of Hamilton's 31 seasons. Unity finished as state runner-ups six different times during that span.
