DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The National Weather Service in Lincoln confirmed one tornado in Coles County from severe storms on Wednesday that moved through parts of Illinois.
The EF-1 tornado touched down to the northwest of Rardin in a rural part of Coles County. NWS said there was damage to an outbuilding and siding was torn off a house. The tornado was on the ground for two minutes with 110 mile per hour winds.

It touched down near County Road 1600 North, moved northeast, and lifted near County Road 2000 East by Dry Branch Creek.Â

There were no reported injuries.
The tornado had a width of 50 yards.
At least five other tornadoes were recorded in Illinois on Wednesday from severe storms. A tornado was spotted southwest of Peoria, but no damage was reported. Three EF-0 and an EF-1 touched down near Chicago with minimal damage reported.Â
Around central Illinois, at least ten tornadoes have been reported because of severe weather in the last week.
