A cloudy and mild end to the week

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Friday! Temperatures have hit the upper 60s for the past two days. Highs today will stay steady in the upper 60s with overcast skies. Scattered rain chances will increase throughout the day. Most of the area will stay dry through the afternoon. Rain chances will increase overnight and linger into early Saturday morning.

Showers will clear into mostly cloudy skies for Saturday. Temperatures will warm up into the 70s by Saturday afternoon. Clouds will clear slightly for the back half of Saturday. Warmer temperatures are on the way for next week.

Heat and humidity will build into the region with winds out of the south. Storm chances will linger through the afternoon. Temperatures will be warmer in the upper 70s and low 80s for most of next week. Humidity will hang around for Memorial Day with more of a summer-like feel through the middle of next week.
