DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Wednesday! After a chilly Tuesday in the 40s, things are looking much warmer for the next few days. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s to start the day. They will warm up quickly as strong winds out of the south drive in warmer air. Temperatures will climb into the 50s by 10, and the 60s by noon with mostly sunny skies.

High temperatures will top off near the low 70s. Overnight lows will drop into the 50s with mostly clear skies. Temperatures will warm up even faster on Thursday with highs in the mid-70s. Scattered storm chances will move in overnight into Friday. Steady showers are expected through the early afternoon. Around a tenth to a quarter inch of rain is expected.

Saturday will be comfortable with highs climbing into the upper 60s with a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will soar into the upper 70s on Sunday with clouds moving in. Storm chances return overnight into Monday morning. It will be unsettled through the middle of next week with scattered rain and storm chances expected through Wednesday.
