DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Monday! Temperatures will be cool this morning, in the 40s with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will climb into the 50s before the afternoon with sunny skies hanging around. Temperatures will plunge tonight as the sunshine goes down. Expect overnight lows to drop into the low 30s. This could lead to some frost and could damage sensitive plants.
Temperatures will be slow to warm up on Tuesday, with highs about 10 degrees cooler than Monday in the upper 40s. Mostly cloudy skies will hang around through Tuesday evening. Overnight lows will be warmer in the upper 30s.
Much warmer air will filter in for the rest of the week. Winds will be strong out of the south by Wednesday afternoon. This will drive up temperatures into the upper 60s and low 70s through the weekend. Rain chances will increase Thursday night into Friday.
