DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Overnight National Weather Service issued a Frost Advisory for most of Central Illinois. A common night for frost would be temperatures near the freezing point with calm winds and a clear night sky.
Frost will become more common throughout this forecast, so it is advised to bring in any plants or cover them to your best ability if you don't want them to be impacted by the cold weather.
To no one's surprise, Wednesday will be off to a cold start to the day across Central Illinois.

The wind may be calm early this morning, but as the day continues, peak wind gusts could be upwards of 35 mph.
As the kids head to the bus stop, make sure they grab the coat or a sweatshirt because highs are only expected to get to about 60°.
