DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Sunday! Our week starts on a chilly and frosty note. Temperatures in the 30s this morning allowed for patchy frost. A Frost Advisory will expire at 8 this morning.Â
Today, a weak disturbance brings more clouds and gusty winds this afternoon. However, dry air in place will limit this disturbance to just clouds across most of central Illinois. Temperatures today will warm to the upper 50s, and a few of us may see 60 degrees this afternoon.Â
Tonight, we are back to clear skies. Winds calm down, and under the clear sky, temperatures dip into the 30s by Monday morning. This will allow a return for frost and hard freeze concerns. Both a Freeze Warning and Frost Advisory go into effect across parts of the region after midnight.
Stay warm and have a great day!
