Sunday brings the last few rounds of rain for a few days; Monday will give us a chance to dry out before the next rain-making weather system arrives.

This morning most locations will see less than an inch of rain. However, if you catch a heavy downpour, a quick 1-2 inches of rain will be possible. Across the board, Sunday morning's rain should be less than what we saw Saturday morning.

Later in the day, we need to keep an eye out for a few stronger thunderstorms. Through the middle of the day, it looks like we get a break from the rain. That will allow heat and humidity to build together creating storm energy. Then a cold front moves through overnight. Heavy rain will be possible in this overnight round of rain and thunderstorms, with another 1-2" of rain possible under the heavier downpours. That system should be out of our area by daybreak Monday.
