NWS reported significant damage to home 4 miles east of New Holland in Logan County.

70mph winds blow over two-semi trucks on I-155

Winds reaching 70 miles per hour blew over two semi-trucks near Hartsburg, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

At 6:40 p.m., the NWS recorded a wind gust of 70 mph near Hartsburg, which caused two semi-trucks to tip over on Interstate 155 at mile marker 3.

Additionally, reports indicated hail size comparable to that of ping pong balls in the area. 

A Tornado Watch has been issued for part of Central Illinois until 10 o'clock Thursday night.
