DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Sunday! Another quiet and seasonable day is on tap for Central Illinois, but southerly flow picks up today and brings a shift these conditions.
We’ll start the day with sunshine for some, but clouds will quickly build in throughout the morning and afternoon. Even so, we’ll still enjoy some filtered sunshine, and between this and southerly flow, temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 30s.
Cloudy skies and warm, moist air moving in from out the south this evening will leave us in the upper 20s tonight, and clearing skies overnight may allow for patchy fog early Monday morning. We’ll be mostly sunny by tomorrow afternoon with temperatures peaking near 50 degrees.
Temperatures in the mid 50s will be the story throughout the week until our next meaningful chance of rain returns with a deep, upper level trough Thursday night to cool us down.
