(WAND) - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Macoupin County until 12:15 pm.
Severe thunderstorms are rolling through the area highlighted in orange at 35 mph.
According to the National Weather Service the main concern is wind gusts of up to 60 mph. However, an isolated tornado spin-up remains possible. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure.
