DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Wednesday! The showers have stayed together overnight and are moving slowly northward. These storms will hang around through mid-morning before they clear out for the afternoon. Rain totals will be low, with around a tenth of an inch or less expected.

Winds will be calm again this afternoon with temperatures soaring into the low 80s. So expect another muggy feel. There are some air quality alert concerns this afternoon, so people with breathing issues should stay inside as much as possible.

Temperatures will stay hot overnight in the 60s. Thursday looks like the hottest day of the week with temperatures flirting with the mid to upper 80s. Mostly sunny skies will hang around through Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will cool off a bit as we head into the weekend.
