DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - This weekend has been abnormally hot. With an average high of 75° this time of year, we have seen two days in a row top out near 90° and no signs of relief in sight.
Over the next week, expect to ditch the umbrella in favor of shades and short-sleeves.
While this will be a dry heat, that doesn't have to mean comfortability.

In order to keep your house cool without constantly running the A/C, consider closing blinds and limiting time that you keep doors and windows open.
