CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Vegan dishes are taking center stage in the Champaign-Urbana area this month. 

The fourth annual Champaign Vegan Chef Challenge runs April 1 through April 30. 

Diners can try vegan menu items and rate dishes prepared by local chefs.

According to the Vegan Chef Challenge, participating restaurants are set to include The Literary, Papa Del's Pizza, Watson's Shack & Rail, Siam Terrace, El Paraiso, Briks Pizzeria, Good Judys Espresso & Bagel Bar, Big Grove Tavern, Dubai Grill, Whisk Coffee and Wine Bar, Star BBQ, Seven Saints, Neil St Blues, Blue Ethiopian Cuisine & Cafe and more.

The winning dishes will be announced in May, with updates available online.
