Captain Neil Yelenick retires from Danville Fire Department

DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - Captain Neil Yelenick announced he is retiring from the Danville Fire Department after almost 27 years. 

Captain Yelenick served for 26 years and 11 months in the City of Danville. 

A "walk-out" ceremony would be held at 9 a.m. at the Danville Fire Department - Fire Station #3, 1111 N. Griffin St. on Wednesday, September 17. 

A welcome reception will be held at the end of the ceremony.
