SAVOY, Ill. (WAND) - Developers have released plans for Savoy's new downtown area. 

More than 700 community members voiced their opinions on the space. Their top priorities were pedestrian safe walkways and ample parking spaces. 

They plan to include food truck parking spaces, a children's play area, outdoor lighting, and a stage. 

All of this will be in a large plaza in the northeast corner of U.S. 45 and Church St.
