DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — While many businesses are closed on July 4, the Decatur Park District has plenty of offers throughout Decatur for families looking for a fun day out.
Splash Cove is open with regular admission today with an open swim from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Scovill Zoo is offering free carousel rides with paid admission. It is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Overlook Adventure Park is offering discounted mini golf and adventure passes. Mini golf is $7.50 per person for one round and 2-activity adventure passes are $14 per person. The park is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Over the Top Ice Cream Shop is also still open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
To end the night, the Devon hosts Decade of Decadence at 6 p.m., and fireworks start at dusk on Lake Decatur in Nelson Park.
