4th of July Guide: Where to watch fireworks and celebrate Independence Day across central IL

(WAND) - WAND has compiled a list of Fourth of July celebrations, including fireworks, parades, and festivals, taking place across central Illinois.

Fireworks:

Arcola: Fourth of July Fireworks Display at Best Western Plus Green Mill Village Hotel & Suites Convention Center, 917 Green Mill Ave., June 29, 5-10 p.m., fireworks at dusk
Arthur: 2025 Arthur Rotary Fireworks, Saturday, June 28. The celebration will start at 4 p.m. with food vendors, Captain Rat and the Blind Rivets at 6:00 p.m., powered parachutes, and skydivers bringing Old Glory at 8:00 p.m. There will also be commemorative t-shirts for sale with the proceeds going to the men and women veterans of the Armed Forces.
Atlanta: Fireworks at dusk, Ball Diamond at the Atlanta Sports Complex, July 5

Clinton: Celebrate Clinton Association fireworks, 51 South and Kleeman Dr., July 5, 9:15 p.m.
Danville: Thunder Over Lake Vermilion at the Danville Boat Club, June 28, fireworks at dusk
Decatur: Fireworks over Lake Decatur after the Decade of Decadence show at the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater, July 4, concert is at 6 p.m., fireworks at dusk
Fairbury Speedway: Fireworks at dusk, 600 S. Third St., July 5
Fisher: Fireworks at Fisher Fairgrounds, 226 E. Sangamon St., July 3 at dusk

Danville: Fourth of July in Downtown Danville. There will be an old-fashioned carnival from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with obstacle courses, the Meltdown Zone, bungee trampoline, human slot machine, duck pond game, and more.
