The Decatur Public Library has announced delays in new materials coming to the library. 

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Decatur Public Library will celebrate its 150th anniversary with a block party featuring live music, activities and local partners.

The free event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 2, in the DPL greenspace and parking lot. 

There will be crafts, bubbles and bounce houses. Community partners will include Scovill's Mobile, the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois, the Children's Museum of Illinois, the Decatur Area Arts Council and more.
