(WAND) — Cemeteries and cities across central Illinois are hosting a variety of events this Memorial Day to honor the fallen. Below is a list of Memorial Day events happening near you.

Rantoul Family Sports Complex Memorial Day Ceremony
The program will include the presentation of colors and remarks from Todd Wilson. There will be a moment of silence to reflect on the sacrifice of fallen service members.Â
When: Monday, May 25, 11 a.m.
Where: Rantoul Family Sports Complex Veterans Memorial, Rantoul, IL
Fairview Park Memorial Day Ceremony
The ceremony will include wreath placements from local veterans organizations and posts, presentation of the colors, memorial honors with taps a a ceremonial salute by the Macon County Honor Guard, and the National Anthem performed by Sarah Sanders. The featured speaker will be Sergeant First Class Leah Medina, a member of the Illinois National Guard with over 23 years of military service. Immediately following, participants can follow event leaders to the Korean War Memorial at Graceland Fairlawn Cemetery.

Camp Butler National Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremony
Camp Butler National Cemetery will commemorate the service and sacrifice of the veterans interred and memorialized at the cemetery. Keynote speakers include Springfield Mayor Misty Buscher and U.S. Army Veteran Brad Marcy. There will be military honors by the Inter-Veterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County, and music by the Springfield Municipal Band and the Land of Lincoln Chorus.
When: Monday, May 25, musical prelude at 1:30 p.m., ceremony at 2 p.m.

Fleet Feet Memorial Day Fun Run
The public is invited to walk or run on 1, 3 or 5 mile routes in Decatur. All paces are welcome, and there will be post run in-store specials from 8-10 a.m. Sign up is available here.

Williamsville Memorial Day Service
