Heroes at Home event
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The former Navy SEAL who was the one killed Osama bin Laden will be in Springfield as the keynote speaker for the first-ever "Heroes at Home Plate" event in May.
"Heroes at Home Plate" is a new speaker series designed to bring people from all walks of life to Springfield who have shown courage and leadership and can share their stories.
Former Navy SEAL Rob O'Neill will be the first speaker at Robin Roberts Stadium on Saturday, May 2. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
O'Neill served on almost 400 combat missions.
General admission tickets are $40. Box seats are $55. A VIP Meet and Greet is available for $150. This includes exclusive on-field seating close to the stage and a meet and greet with O'Neill.
