FORSYTH, Ill. (WAND) - Get ready to tee off, 217 residents, as Trees on the Tees returns this week.

Trees on the Tees will take place Dec. 3 to 7 and 10 to 14 at Hickory Point Golf Course in Forsyth.

Attendees can drive or stroll through a path of decorated trees, roast s'mores by a fire pit, sip hot chocolate and enjoy local dancers.

Ken Frye from the Decatur Park District shared a new option for those able to enjoy the magic of the season, and not freeze while doing it.

"It's a golf cart event, but there's also a heated golf cart for $200 on Friday through Sunday and $150 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. You can take a heated golf cart out, and I know it's sporadic and they send one out every hour, or every half-hour or so, and so you get to sign up for that," Frye said.

Santa will also be in attendance during parts of the festivities.

Most of the weekend slots are sold out, but weekday options are still available and can be purchased online
