The Illinois State Fair was listed among the top 20 state fairs in the country, according to USA Today's panel of experts.
USA Today readers will narrow down the choices as part of the outlet's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards series.
The Illinois State Fair was included alongside the Great New York State Fair, the Iowa State Fair, the State Fair of Texas and more.
Voting has already ended, but winners will be announced Wednesday, Aug. 6.
