CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — Cult film characters Jay and Silent Bob will be making a stop at the Virginia Theatre on their Aural Sects Tour this summer.
The actors, Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, will be breaking their roles to tell stories about movies, relationships, and parenthood June 25.
The two first became known as characters in Smith's 1994 film "Clerks" and went on to appear in "Mallrats," "Chasing Amy," "Dogma," and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back."
"But at their Jay and Silent Bob live show, Kev and Jay finally get to be themselves, using their mouths on you for money, telling tales about making movies, marrying above their stations, and being Dads – all while struggling to maintain their dwindling pop cultural relevance!"
