DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — A group from Knights of Columbus worked together to clean up a newly built Habitat for Humanity home's yard on Saturday.
The volunteers helped clear some small trees and overgrowth to make the house suitable for living.
"I just thought that the first thing we need to do as far as getting it ready for market is to get this backyard into shape," said Knights of Columbus member Fred Lohrstorfer. "It was a forest back here this morning."
Lohrstorfer said they are still looking for a buyer for the house. If interested, he says to contact Habitat for Humanity.
