Local organizations unite to provide free essentials for women in need

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - On Wednesday multiple local organizations are coming together to provide free clothes, jewelry, and toiletries to women in need. This initiative is a partnership between cabi stylists, God's Shelter of Love, and the Good Samaritan Inn.

God's Shelter of Love is the only women's shelter in the area that offers actual housing. On Wednesday select women will have the opportunity to receive clothing in all sizes, along with jewelry and essential toiletries, all at no cost.

"God's Shelter is one of the few facilities in the area that provides housing. Our goal is to supplement this by addressing clothing needs and offering items that are desperately needed," stated Tracey Albert with Cabi Stylist. "Both partnered organizations support the homeless and those in need of food and clothing, so we're collaborating to meet these needs."
