DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Macon Resources is getting ready to Paint the Town Orange.
Paint the Town Orange is a week-long campaign dedicated to raising awareness about developmental disabilities.
It will run from March 18 to 22.
MRI helps those with developmental disabilities through support programs, including things like independent living and socialization.
Kyle Karsten, director of development at MRI, explained what to expect.
"You'll see very bright orange signs with MRI's logo popping up around town. We have over 100 businesses that have a little display set up in their business. It is our opportunity together to create awareness for what MRI does," Karsten said.
Participants are encouraged to wear orange or find another fun way to raise awareness during the campaign.
