DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Micro Transit service will be launched by Decatur Public Transit on August 11.
The service will be similar to Uber. You can order it for curb-to-curb travel.
The August 11Â launch will be for Decatur, Forsyth and Mt. Zion. Rural service for the rest of Macon County will launch this fall.
Urban fees for traveling will be $2 per ride. In rural areas, the cost will be $5.
The service will be easy to access. You will be able to use an app which will come out in the near future. Or, you can call 217-424-2821.
