Powers Mansion Decatur

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - An Open House will be held at the historic Powers Mansion in Decatur. 

Owner of the Mansion, Norma Fick, will allow the public to get their first views inside before she starts restoration.

The event is on Wednesday, May 15 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per person. All funds will go towards the restoration fund. The tour is part of the 6th annual Historic Preservation Week.

Parking is available only at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church at 250 West Decatur or on the Church Street side of the Decatur Professional Plaza, located at 363 South Main Street. The owners of these lots have agreed to allow the public to park in these lots to attend the tour.
 
There will be no public admittance down the 400 block of South Edward.
