DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - PawPrint Ministries in Decatur has announced plans for a pawsome new addition to its training facility—a hospital and health care simulation room for comfort dog training.
The organization said in a July 14 Facebook post that the space will be used to train puppers around medical equipment they frequently encounter while on visits.
Hospital equipment will be added to prepare dogs and handlers for working on the job with patients and hospital staff.Â
