Rediscover the real Laura Ingalls Wilder at free history program

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A history program in Decatur will focus on the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder. 

Laura Ingalls Wilder's life was the focus of the "Little House on the Prairie" book series and television show. 

A free educational program called "Laura Ingalls Wilder: Her Life" will be held at Rock Springs Nature Center on Saturday, July 26 at 2 p.m. 

Guest speaker Janilyn Kochner, a history professor at Richland Community College, will provide an in-depth look into Wilder's life.
