Goodbye Malibu

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Put those weekend plans into drive and take your Chevy to the levee as the Illinois Camaro Car Show comes to Decatur this weekend.

The Decatur Area CVB said in a press release Thursday that the show will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Chevrolet Hall of Fame Museum. 

The car show is free and open to the public. Car owners can check in at the registration table when they arrive. 

Food will be offered by Stix on 36, and the museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with admission $12. 

Best in Show trophies will be given to each generation of Camaro, along with Best Modified, Farthest Distance Driven and Judge’s Choice. Those who do not have a Camaro can also receive awards, including Best in Show, Best Modified, and Most Unique.
