DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Support natural areas and wildlife this weekend by riding your bicycle in the Prairie Pedal Bike Ride.
The Macon County Conservation Foundation will hold its annual bicycling fundraiser event Sunday, Sept. 28, with all routes beginning and ending at Rock Springs Conservation Area in Decatur.Â
Bicycle riders may choose from a 20, 40, or 62-mile route along scenic country roads around the area.Â
Riders on the 40 and 62-mile routes can check in from 6:30-8 a.m., while riders on he 20-mile route may check in from 8-10 a.m., according to the Macon County Conservation Foundation's website.
Cyclists can enjoy live music, a chili lunch and refreshments after the ride. Â
