DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The University of Illinois Extension in Decatur will host an upcoming day-long event focused on brain health.
"Use Your Noodle" will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at Central Christian Church.
The event will offer four educational sessions on brain health, including dementia support, nutrition to support your brain and tai chi.
U of I Extension Nutrition and Wellness Educator Caitlin Mellendorf said the event is meant to connect with the older members of the community.
"We know we have an aging population, and so having topics and education around brain health is going to be very important to our community," Mellendorf said.
Those interested must register by June 15.
