SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — Springfield coffee spot Wm. Van's Cafe is transitioning to new ownership according to Conn’s Hospitality Group.
A post on the shop's Facebook page said that Dalton Ingram, former owner of the Carriage House, will be taking over the business.Â
Ingram plans to continue serving coffee and food and is "committed to maintaining the inviting atmosphere and culinary offerings that have made Wm. Van's a favorite spot to gather in Springfield," according to the post.
Wm. Van’s Cafe will serve its final customers under its current name and ownership on Sunday, April 27, before reopening as Mary Todd’s on Thursday, May 1.
